The history of UCF Model United Nations stretches back all the way to 1997, when it was founded as the United Nations Association @ UCF. Although UCF is recognized for its STEM programs as SpaceU, UCFMUN stands at the forefront of advancing UCF in the realm of politics and international affairs on the collegiate scene. We teach individuals different forms of public speaking and debate so that they can carry on healthy debates between other schools during Model UN competitions. We believe orators are made and not born, and no prior skill is necessary to do Model UN; we are happy to help those interested in learning.

UCFMUN has been on the circuit since 1997; We have also hosted our high school conference, KnightMUN, for over 25 years, with over 600 delegates in attendance each year. Last year, we slowly rose in the rankings, winning delegation and committee awards at various conferences on the circuit. We know that competition and a healthy relationship with all schools on the circuit are important, so we pride ourselves on those good relationships to make sure that Model UN is fun for all of those involved.
