Message From The Secretary-General

Dear Delegates, Staffers, and Advisors,

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the University of Central Florida for the inaugural PegasusMUN! On behalf of the entire Secretariat, I cannot express how excited we are to bring this brand-new conference to life.

At UCF Model United Nations, we focus on building an environment that values critical thinking, collaboration, and respect. Our committees this year explore an incredible range of topics, from the dynamics of the Italian Mafia to the challenges of habitat restoration in degraded ecosystems. Whether you find yourself in a General Assembly, a Specialized, a Crisis, or an Ad Hoc committee, you will find opportunities to engage deeply with global issues and strengthen your skills in diplomacy and problem-solving.

I am honored to lead alongside UCF MUN’s most dedicated and talented team. Their hard work and vision have made this conference possible. To our delegates, I look forward to seeing your ideas develop and your discussions take shape throughout the weekend.

THE PEGASUSMUN I SECRETARIAT

This year, the PegasusMUN Secretariat has worked hard to put together UCFMUN's first collegiate conference. Through the collaboration of the Executives, Directors, and Undersecretaries-General, they have worked tirelessly to ensure that this inaugural conference leaves a first good impression and good mark on the southern circuit. Secretariat members have worked with Chairs and Crisis Directors to ensure quality background guides and an amazing experience for our delegates. As this is the first PegasusMUN, this is an experiment that we want to share with all of you to make sure that this conference is an experience that lasts. We can't wait to see you all in March!
